I have always loved reading … and writing. For many years, I have happily divided my working hours between freelance writing projects and my love of libraries. Having spent several years as an employee in a public library system and decades volunteering in both church and school libraries, I have been privileged to hear firsthand opinions about books, magazines, and other media from people of all ages.
My writing resume, list of publications, current works, and/or clips are available to publishers upon request. My goal in writing is to provide readers with stories, articles, and activities that entertain, educate, and engage them. A few of my works in progress include a young adult novel, completion of my third picture book manuscript, and collaboration on a digital gluten-free cookbook.
My other interests include wild birds, nature photography, collage illustration, and collecting vintage picture books.
